Wednesday night sky colors

Well i decided to take more photos of our skies tonight as they are too pretty to by pass, so here are a few more . Never know when we are going to have a boring sky. Today tho the weather was extremely cold and windy,they say snow in some areas and freezing temp, specially in LaPine area. Click on photos for better viewing

Beautiful Sky/Sonic

Ok well i am not sure i like there opening, what a pain in the hiney and i am being very nice on how i really want to say this.....

There driving thru my parking lot, there parking in my spaces and leaving there cars here, there bringing the food over and eating in my parking lot. No i am not a happy motel owner. So if you ever have a Sonic going in next door to ya Grab the owners and make stricked rules, or if your going to visit an opening of a Sonics please respect other peoples property.

We finally had to put our rig in the driveway, a wheel barrel and a sign and i'll be damned if they still didn't try to go thru.

The owners told us after me bitching that it won't be this way all the time accept the next two weeks. Well guess i am going to have to put up ropes. I told them i have been very patient for the last 3 months but i am losing patients. They did make up a sign to put in our entrance, Motel parking only. Don't do much good But they are trying ......

OH HUM!!!! Again loss of income

Sky Watch Friday / Alphabet Photos

For those that don't know we own a small motel here in Central Oregon so today i thought this would be the perfect photo for Sky Watch Friday and the new Meme that Quilly started for May
This is one of my rooms that we call the Apple Blossom Room. A Muriel that one of my guests painted for me when she found out I was going to attempt a scene of something on the wall. Her husband graciously volunteered her, she was tickled to death to do it.

Quilly over at Pacific Paradise is hosting Alphabet Photos. Participants will post a different photo each day in the month of May. Each day will represent a letter of the alphabet.

Sky Watch Friday/Parking not always the best

Leaving the Salt Flats. The sky was very clear, it was starting to get late so we decided that we better start looking for a place to camp for the night..We thought we saw a sign for RV parking. Well if you have ever been in a rv and towing a car you know that you can't back up if you screw up, well we found ourselves in that predicament, so this is the church that we tried to turn around in but didn't have enough room, so you have to unhook the car, Of course you all have to know i told hubby not to pull in there, and even when he did i told him he can drive around in the back of the church, but oh no he wouldn't listen, well you know these men they always know more than we do......

So by the time we got unhitched and hooked back up again we left there in hopes of finding a out of the way parking area, but that was too be another hour or so away, and when we did find it we thought it was a great spot, not too far off the road which was nice as it was a two lane road, figuring not too much traffic at night,but about an hour after we got all settled in, the train comes by, and every hour or so after that all night long we would wake back up to the sounds of the train and the whistle. So much for a good nights sleep and cheap parking.....But then i have to say we have also paid for RV Parks and the darn train is right there as well. Over the yrs we always try to avoid those places, but sometimes its hard to do

Leaving there i took many photos of the country side but this one i wanted to share, look at those fences that are up there, now tell me who in the world wants to spend that kind of money to put a fence up... Do you also see those huge rocks sort of scattered around? makes me wonder were they came from since the rock hill looks pretty smooth.

Sky Watch Friday/I'm back

Well it has been a long time since i have participated in Sky Watch Friday and have missed doing so. I hope to be back in the blogging world.
We are also back from our month long vacation to Utah so thought i would start out with this photo i took our first night on the road. This was taken at the Round Barn out towards Burns Or. More to come on that.
