Almost completed Sonics

Well for those that have kept track of the development of the Sonics Drive Inn that went in next door to us, here is a photo of an almost completed building, there opening day is scheduled for the the 19th of this month, not sure it will open then or not, they look like they have a lot of stuff left to do outside, i got a photo of the drive in part but it wasn't all that good, too much stuff in the way. We are all wondering how those girls are going to roller skate in the winter time as there is no covering from
the building. Should be interesting to see. And son said there was no inside seating, so all outdoors and in your rigs.

We are also surprised that the color is so bland, we surely thought it would be a nice bright color. Not very pleasing to the eye we don't think.

So today they closed my driveway again to the motel, they layed the forms for them to pour the concrete for the entrance to our place tomorrow, they said no driving on it for at least 7 days . Of course we were the last ones to have the concrete poured. Not very happy about that.

Pak-it, junk

Here is a place called the Pak-it place, do you have one of these? This guy has so much junk that it is pathetic. He used to be located in the Old Mill District before they redid that part of town. Well anyway he moved over here and when he first moved we thought oh good he is going to be a lot more organized, well that only last for a short time. He just keeps getting stuff and more stuff, This is only the outside of the place, the inside is even worse. So buying anything from here is more frustrating then anything i care to do, but once in awhile hubby will say lets stop and see if he has this or that. Most of the time he doesn't and if he did you can usually buy it cheaper new..... click on the photos for better viewing

Odd Shot Monday

Last week Katney asked me what kind of place the Funny Farm was and were it is. As you have been following the Odd Shots of my posts the last several weeks i have posted some Odd photos From there. Sadley the place is closed, and if you will click on the Funny Farm
You can read all about the place and why it is closed now. It is sad but since his Partner died, the place really went to pots. The two men had some great things going on there, which was so neat to see as they were always adding things to the place. I still have a few Odd things to post, and my apologies to Katney for posting more than one photo this time. It was a fun place to take the grandkids cause they always enjoyed seeing what was new there.
